Computer program to find out what is slowing my computer performance?

Is there any program that shows hardware stats and what maybe slowing my computers performance down
AMD X4 9750
8G DDR2 800Mhz ram
Gigabyte MA-790 Motherbaord
MSI Radeon 4870 -512mb ram
Vista 64bit HE OS
if anyone knows why it still does not run Flight Sim X Full settings can you please fill me in I would of thought that my system would do it

Your Computer can be slowed by Antivirus software, Viruses, Trojans, Spyware, and hardware.
The first thing to do is the CTRL+ALT+DEL and click the CPU tab until you see it sorted highest % Top-down…this will let you know what programs are using the most of your CPU’s processing. If you don’t know what each program or task that is running is type the EXACT name into yahoo search…I would even advice putting the name in qoutes and a .exe at the end. Some programs using multiple tasks when running. anything that looks like gibberish may be spyware…example is jimmyhack or ihriqgh43t13vy

You should also download the following FREE programs:
windows-kb890830-v2.6.exe (windows malicious software removal tool JAN-2009)
Spybot Search & Destroy
Malbytes Malware
SuperAntiSpyware
Windows Defender
Microsoft updates (If you have microsoft office you need microsoft updates NOTICE it’s not WINDOWS UPDATE)

Make sure to download all update PRIOR to running full system scan.
Spybot should be used to IMMUNIZE your PC as well.
This should minimize your slow PC due to software.

Do NOT install any TOOLBARS ever!!! even the ones included with some of these free programs.

Vista Aero can be set to disabled as many report this as a slowdown item.

The 4870 card isn’t really capable of running Flight Sim X at full res and @ 30fps. I don’t know what your version of FULL is but READ the following links and check carefully the settings and cards as 4870 X2 is actually a 2GPU version and should be about double the performance of your card. These links each have their own settings and your card isn’t on all of them but you should be able to get an idea for what your max settings are depending on your screen settings/resolution.

The last thing you can try are updating your drivers for your video card and checking the Microsoft site or forums for possible patches for Flight Simulator X.
