Can Microsoft Flight Simulator X be played with dual monitors and if so how?

I was wondering whether you can play Microsoft Flight Simulator X with dual monitors, and if so how this can be done?
Back in the days, Matrox cards were used, but you can now use any of the Nvidia GT cards. They have dual outputs in the back and you can split the view using the screen management software for the video card. You can either split the screen, clone it or drag and drop, such as undocking a panel and dropping it to the second monitor. I use at this time a EVGA GT 9600 which has dual outputs……..and back in 2004 I was using a Geforce FX 5600 I believe which also had dual outputs and supported dual monitor features. The safe side is choosing a Nvidia card that has two identical VGA or HD outputs such as the card I mentioned. I’m not brand specific. I mention Nvidia because that is what I have used, and in the world of FS, ATI doesn’t have a good rep.
